<p>WP Table Builder allows you to easily change the <strong>font color</strong> and <strong>font size</strong> of the text inside your tables. You can either apply the styling to <strong>the entire table</strong> or modify <strong>specific text elements individually</strong>.</p>

<p>In this guide, we will show you <strong>two ways</strong> to change font color and size in WP Table Builder.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Method 1: Change Font Color and Size for the Entire Table</h2>

<p>This method allows you to change the font color and size for <strong>all text inside a specific table</strong>.</p>

<p class="has-border-light-background-color has-background">Note: This is <strong>not a global typography setting</strong>. The changes will apply <strong>only to the table you are editing</strong>.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Steps</h3>

<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Open the table in the <strong>WP Table Builder editor</strong>.</li>

<li>Click the <strong>Settings</strong> tab at the top of the left panel.</li>

<li>Expand the <strong>Font Style</strong> section.</li>

<li>Adjust the following options:
<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Font Color</strong> – Change the text color.</li>

<li><strong>Link Color</strong> – Change the color of links inside the table.</li>

<li><strong>Font Size</strong> – Adjust the text size using the slider.</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ol>

<p>Once you make the changes, they will apply to <strong>all text inside the current table</strong>.</p>

<p>Mistakes happen while editing tables, but fixing them is easy with the <strong>Undo</strong> and <strong>Redo</strong> features in WP Table Builder! These tools allow you to effortlessly reverse or repeat recent actions, making your table-building workflow smoother and more flexible.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Why Use Undo &amp; Redo?</h2>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Undo:</strong> Go back one or more steps if you make a mistake or want to change something you just did.</li>

<li><strong>Redo:</strong> Move forward again if you accidentally undid something, or simply want to restore a change.</li>
</ul>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Where to Find Undo &amp; Redo Buttons</h2>

<p>When you’re editing a table in WP Table Builder, you’ll find the <strong>Undo</strong> and <strong>Redo</strong> icons in the top bar of the editor, just above your table.</p>

<p><strong>Undo Button</strong> (it looks like a curved arrow pointing to the left)</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="542" src="https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Undo-in-WP-Table-Builder-1024x542.png" alt="" class="wp-image-21258" srcset="https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Undo-in-WP-Table-Builder-1024x542.png 1024w, https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Undo-in-WP-Table-Builder-300x159.png 300w, https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Undo-in-WP-Table-Builder-768x407.png 768w, https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Undo-in-WP-Table-Builder-1536x814.png 1536w, https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Undo-in-WP-Table-Builder-2048x1085.png 2048w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p><strong>Redo Button (it looks like a curved arrow pointing to the right</strong>)</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="544" src="https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redo-in-WP-Table-Builder-1024x544.png" alt="" class="wp-image-21259" srcset="https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redo-in-WP-Table-Builder-1024x544.png 1024w, https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redo-in-WP-Table-Builder-300x159.png 300w, https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redo-in-WP-Table-Builder-768x408.png 768w, https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redo-in-WP-Table-Builder-1536x816.png 1536w, https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redo-in-WP-Table-Builder-2048x1088.png 2048w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p></p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide"/>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to Use Undo &amp; Redo</h2>

<p><strong>To Undo an Action:</strong></p>

<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Click the <strong>Undo</strong> button (curved left arrow) on the top toolbar.</li>

<li>The last change you made will be reversed.</li>

<li>You can click multiple times to keep undoing previous actions.</li>
</ol>

<p><strong>Example:</strong><br>If you accidentally deleted a row or changed some text, click <strong>Undo</strong> to bring it back.</p>

<p><strong>To Redo an Action:</strong></p>

<li>Click the <strong>Redo</strong> button (curved right arrow) next to the Undo button.</li>

<li>The most recently undone change will be applied again.</li>

<li>You can click multiple times to redo several actions in order.</li>
</ol>

<p><strong>Example:</strong><br>If you undid something by mistake, just hit <strong>Redo</strong> to restore it.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide"/>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Keyboard Shortcuts (Optional)</h2>

<p>WP Table Builder also supports common keyboard shortcuts:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Undo:</strong> Press <code>Ctrl + Z</code> (Windows) or <code>Cmd + Z</code> (Mac)</li>

<li><strong>Redo:</strong> Press <code>Ctrl + Y</code> (Windows) or <code>Cmd + Shift + Z</code> (Mac)</li>
</ul>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide"/>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Pro Tips</h2>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Undo &amp; Redo work for most actions in the table editor, including cell edits, row/column changes, and style adjustments.</li>

<li>Use these tools as much as needed—there’s no limit to how many times you can undo or redo (within your current editing session).</li>
</ul>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide"/>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Final Words</h2>

<p>The Undo and Redo buttons in WP Table Builder make editing fast and worry-free. Experiment with your table design, knowing you can always revert or restore any changes instantly!</p>

<p><strong>Divi Builder</strong> is one of the most popular page builders. You can create almost any kind of website using the Divi Builder. But when it comes to creating a table in Divi, there&#8217;s no default solution. You&#8217;ll have to use a plugin or an extension.</p>

<p><a href="https://wptablebuilder.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>WP Table Builder</strong></a> works seamlessly with the <strong>Divi Builder</strong> as it supports <strong>shortcodes</strong>. Here&#8217;s how to use &#8216;WP Table Builder&#8217; with Divi.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Adding Tables In Divi Builder</h2>

<p>Once you&#8217;ve <a href="https://wptablebuilder.com/docs/create-first-table-wp-table-builder/" data-type="URL" data-id="https://wptablebuilder.com/docs/create-first-table-wp-table-builder/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">created a table</a>, click ‘<strong>Embed</strong>‘, and it will copy a shortcode to the ‘Clipboard’ automatically.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-full has-custom-border"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1234" height="728" src="https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/2025-03-18_12-00-07-1.gif" alt="" class="wp-image-20694" style="border-width:1px;border-radius:3px"/></figure>

<p></p>

<p>Then, go to the page/post where you want to add the table. Edit the page/post with Divi Builder. Now add the Divi Text module and paste the code there.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-full has-custom-border"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1280" height="720" src="https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Embedding-Shorcode-in-Divi.gif" alt="" class="wp-image-7155" style="border-width:1px;border-radius:3px"/></figure>

<p></p>

<p>You can see the table preview almost instantly after inserting the shortcode. <strong>(Though the tables are separate, </strong>the functionalities are the <strong>same.)</strong></p>

<p>Hope this quick tutorial helped you to use WP Table Builder with the Divi Builder. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Method 1: Using the WP Table Builder block</h2>

<p>This is the recommended method. The dedicated WP Table Builder block lets you insert, edit, and create tables without leaving the editor.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 1: Insert the WP Table Builder block</h3>

<p>Open any post or page in the block editor. You can add the block in two ways:</p>

<p><strong>Option A — Slash command (fastest):</strong> Type <code>/wp table builder</code> <strong>(1)</strong> directly in the editor, then click the <strong>WP Table Builder</strong> block from the dropdown <strong>(2)</strong>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image has-custom-border"><img decoding="async" src="https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/2025-03-18_15-26-47.png" alt="Slash command to insert block" class="has-border-color" style="border-color:#d4d4ec;border-width:1px;border-top-left-radius:4px;border-top-right-radius:4px;border-bottom-left-radius:4px;border-bottom-right-radius:4px"/></figure>

<p><strong>Option B — Block inserter:</strong> Click the <strong>Add Block</strong> icon (the &#8220;+&#8221; icon) <strong>(1)</strong>, type <strong>&#8220;WP Table Builder&#8221;</strong> in the search box <strong>(2)</strong>, then click the <strong>WP Table Builder</strong> block <strong>(3)</strong>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image has-custom-border"><img decoding="async" src="https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/2025-03-18_15-20-31.png" alt="Block inserter search" class="has-border-color" style="border-color:#d4d4ec;border-width:1px;border-top-left-radius:4px;border-top-right-radius:4px;border-bottom-left-radius:4px;border-bottom-right-radius:4px"/></figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 2: Select a table</h3>

<p>Once the block is inserted, you&#8217;ll see a dropdown listing all the tables you&#8217;ve created in WP Table Builder.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image has-custom-border"><img decoding="async" src="https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/2025-03-18_15-31-49-1.png" alt="Table list dropdown" class="has-border-color" style="border-color:#d4d4ec;border-width:1px;border-top-left-radius:4px;border-top-right-radius:4px;border-bottom-left-radius:4px;border-bottom-right-radius:4px"/></figure>

<p>Click any table to insert it. The table will appear inline in your editor.</p>

<p><strong>Tip:</strong> You can click the minimize icon to collapse the table list into a compact view.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Method 2: Using a Shortcode block</h2>

<p>If you prefer using the table shortcode directly, this method works just as well.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 1: Copy the table shortcode</h3>

<p>Go to <strong>WP Table Builder</strong> in your dashboard, find the table you want, and copy its shortcode. It will look like <code>[wptb id="123" not found ]</code>.</p>

<p>Alternatively, open the table in the WP Table Builder editor and click the <strong>Embed</strong> button at the top — this copies the shortcode to your clipboard automatically.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 3: Paste the shortcode</h3>

<p>Paste the copied shortcode into the editor. You&#8217;ll see the table immediately. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Editing a table from the block editor</h2>

<p>You can open the full WP Table Builder editor without leaving your post.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 1: Select the table block</h3>

<p>Click on the WP Table Builder block in the editor to select it.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 2: Open the table editor</h3>

<p>Click the <strong>Open in Editor</strong> icon in the block toolbar.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image has-custom-border"><img decoding="async" src="https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/2025-03-18_15-44-08.png" alt="Open in Editor icon" class="has-border-color" style="border-color:#d4d4ec;border-width:1px;border-top-left-radius:4px;border-top-right-radius:4px;border-bottom-left-radius:4px;border-bottom-right-radius:4px"/></figure>

<p>The WP Table Builder editor will open as an overlay directly in the block editor. Make your changes, then click <strong>Save Table</strong> before closing the overlay.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image has-custom-border"><img decoding="async" src="https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/2025-03-18_15-46-40.gif" alt="Editing table inline" class="has-border-color" style="border-color:#d4d4ec;border-width:1px;border-top-left-radius:4px;border-top-right-radius:4px;border-bottom-left-radius:4px;border-bottom-right-radius:4px"/></figure>

<p><strong>Important:</strong> Always save your table inside the WP Table Builder editor before exiting. Changes made in the table editor are separate from the post&#8217;s &#8220;Save/Update&#8221; button.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Creating a new table from the block editor</h2>

<p>You can create a new table directly from the WP Table Builder block without going to the WP Table Builder dashboard first.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 1: Insert the WP Table Builder block</h3>

<p>Add the block using either method described above (slash command or block inserter).</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 2: Click Create</h3>

<p>Instead of selecting an existing table, click the <strong>Create</strong> button <strong>(1)</strong>.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 3: Set rows and columns</h3>

<p>Enter the number of <strong>columns (2)</strong> and <strong>rows (3)</strong>, then click <strong>Create (4)</strong>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image has-custom-border"><img decoding="async" src="https://wptablebuilder.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/2025-03-18_15-50-30.png" alt="Create new table from block" class="has-border-color" style="border-color:#d4d4ec;border-width:1px;border-top-left-radius:4px;border-top-right-radius:4px;border-bottom-left-radius:4px;border-bottom-right-radius:4px"/></figure>

<p>The WP Table Builder editor will open. Build your table using drag-and-drop elements, then save it. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Troubleshooting</h2>

<p><strong>The WP Table Builder block doesn&#8217;t appear in the block inserter.</strong> Make sure the WP Table Builder plugin is installed and activated. If you recently installed it, try refreshing the editor. In rare cases, another plugin may be blocking custom blocks — try deactivating other plugins one by one to identify conflicts.</p>

<p><strong>My table shows as a blank block or an error in the editor.</strong> The table may have been deleted from the WP Table Builder dashboard. Open <strong>WP Table Builder → All Tables</strong> and check if the table still exists. If it was deleted, remove the block and insert a new one.</p>

<p><strong>Changes I made in the table editor aren&#8217;t showing on the frontend.</strong> Click <strong>Save Table</strong> inside the WP Table Builder editor overlay before closing it. Then update the post. If you&#8217;re using a caching plugin, purge the cache for that page.</p>
